Sing Tryouts
If you didn't get a chance to tryout for Sing and are still interested in maybe joining ... please contact Emily Gedert (egedert@umich.edu) or Eun Lee (eunylee@umich.edu) for more info.
February Events
February 3rd is MOCK ROCK and you can buy tix at the door! If you buy your ticket at the door, please please please make sure we counted for points!!! They should keep a tally at the door, if they dont take a tally, SAVE YOUR TICKET and let me know so I can try and contact someone on Steering to make sure we get points!!
February 5th Men's Michigan Basketball vs. Penn State. The game takes place at 7pm (Chrisler Arena in Ann Arbor) on Thursday. It's FREE admission with student ID. I am still trying to figure out how our "pre-game will work out with our frat GW partners, I
will keep you all updated!!!
February 13th is Kappa Alpha Psi Talent Show!! It is worth the same amount of points as Mock Rock and Basketball ... I will have more info about this by next week :)

MOCK ROCK!
Hello ladies,
Besides Pairings Party tonight, which i hope all or most of you are going to, we have Mock Rock on Feb 3, 2009 at Hill Auditorium at 7:30pm.
It is alot of fun and amazing time plus we get GREEK WEEK POINTS.
Every year the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and the Letterwinners M-Club (varsity athlete alumni association) present Mock Rock, a light-hearted talent and variety show featuring current varsity student-athletes.
Individual tickets- $10.
Ticket with Bracelet- $11. the bracelet is a glow in the dark silicone and printed with Mock Rock X.
Tickets bought at the door will not be counted toward out team total.
Please let me know if you want to go and please turn in your money to me, room 1, or my mailbox by JAN 19.

Greek Week News:
Hey everyone! I'm sure many of you are preparing your arrival back to Ann Arbor and isn't fantastic that the week following our return we are having a party!!!!
*2009 Pairings Party will take place on Tuesday, January 13th at the Necto!!! Doors open at 9PM, and cover is $5 for 18+ and $3 for 21+. There are going to be some fabulous drink specials as well. Remember that TEAM AGD gets points for each member that attends, so make sure you all show up! A Facebook event (because we all know that nothing is official if it isn't on Facebook) has been created for the soiree as well: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=54631889815. Please mark yourself as attending!!! (SIDE NOTE: I have emailed Freya about whether Greek ID's are necessary, but last year you needed your Driver License to get in...I'll find that all out and keep you posted)
* Sing and Variety Try-outs: I know many of you are eager to hear more information about the tryouts for both Sing and Variety! Our elected Co-Chairs will be sending out an email sometime next week after Pairings Party with information about sign-ups and eligibility. Remember: if you are trying out that you see-it through to the end... people who back out will hurt the team later because it is near impossible to train a replacement later.
*Our next rep meeting will be Monday, January 12th in the Pendleton Room in the Union at 10PM. We'll be discussing how pairings exactly works and will have important information regarding Mock Rock ticket orders. Anyone is welcome to join Kim and I to our rep meetings to get more involved!
*If anyone has questions or concerns about Greek Week or Team AGD, please feel free to email Kim and myself, we want to make sure that everyone stays involved and is ready to rock!
